I am a wedding hair specialist, honored to be a finalist for “Hair Stylist of the Year” at the Essex Wedding Awards and to have won the “Highly Commended” award for “Wedding Hairstylist of the Year” at The Wedding Industry Awards.

Let’s be honest, I absolutely adore everything about wedding hair. It’s more than just a job to me, it’s my passion.

As they say, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” That’s how I feel! I take immense pride in my work and strive to deliver nothing less than perfection in creating the ideal look for each bride.

 

My journey into the world of hair started at the age of 14 when I began working at a local salon near my hometown.

However, I quickly realised that I was destined for the bright lights of the West End, where I could immerse myself in the fast-paced world of fashion and entertainment.

 

During my time in the West End, I had the privilege of working on photo shoots, behind-the-scenes at major hairdressing events, assisting on television shows like Britain’s Next Top Model, and participating in seminars at The Excel.

It was an exciting chapter, but I eventually decided to return to a more of a salon environment, joining an award-winning team where my skills flourished.

 

As a busy senior stylist, I was nominated as a finalist for “Colourist of the Year” and “Future Talent” at the Essex Salon Awards. This experience gave me invaluable knowledge working with a variety of hair types, and building on my knowledge of hair, which I now pass on to my clients and brides, ensuring they can maintain their hair beautifully before their big day.

 

But the real turning point came when I started working with brides. The energy and excitement of bridal parties coming into the salon was contagious, that’s when I truly fell in love with bridal styling.

 

I’ve since been fortunate enough to be part of countless special days and even travel abroad, all while doing what I love. It’s an absolute honor to help brides feel their most beautiful on their big day. Each wedding is unique, and I cherish being part of such a meaningful and magical moment in their lives.
